IT SEEMS QUITE EXPENSIVE – WHY DOES IT COST WHAT IT DOES?
Initially it may seem expensive but when you consider that you happily pay signicant amounts for specialist riding lessons or clinics it puts it all in perspective.

On top of this you pay for vet checks, drugs, agistment and stallion/semen fees to get our mares in foal. We also look forward to having them and have a huge emotional investment in these babies. The cost of preparing and educating yourself is a small price to pay if it is the difference between being able to identify issues and potentially save your mare and or foal.

DO I GET A QUALIFICATION FOR ATTENDING YOUR FOALING SEMINAR?
No. There is no formal qualification for completing the course. However if you are interested please talk to us and we may be able to direct you towards some more formal training.

THERE ISN’T A SEMINAR SCHEDULED FOR MY TOWN – WILL YOU COME HERE?
Good news – you can do the Intro to Foaling Course anywhere, anytime and keep it FOREVER thanks to our newly launched Online Course.

If you are wanting the in-person experiences we are happy to travel to deliver training, however we need to be guaranteed a minimum of 6 participants. Please contact us if you think there is enough interest in your area.

WHO IS THE TRAINING AIMED AT?
FoalEd seminars are aimed at people who may or may not know much about horses. This includes:
– Private breeders – people breeding for pleasure/personal reasons (e.g. breeding from their favourite mare)
– Small breeding operations starting out
– People who are interested in learning more about foaling
– People who may want to get into work in  the Thoroughbred, Standardbred, Sporthorse or any other industry which involves breeding and foaling down of mares
– Anyone who wants to learn!

IS THE SEMINAR INTERACTIVE?
A lot of the seminar is presenting information however we encourage you to ask questions throughout the presentation to clarify your understanding – or simply satisfy your curiosity about something.
