This case study is not quite as in depth as Teak’s Case Study but is a good look at the progression of pH testing in a miniature mare.

It looks at the progression of a miniature mare, Ridgewood SI Little Miss (known as Missy), aged 10, who was in foal to Longwoods Supreme Oppulence, aged 10.

She was hand served twice on 6th November and 7th November 2018, giving her an estimated foaling date of 8th October 2019 (335 days) to 15th October 2019 (342 days). This was her second foal, first with her current owner (pictured below) who has kindly allowed the use of her mare’s info and images for this case study.

Longwoods Supreme Oppulence (stallion)

8/10/19 – Missy delivered a healthy filly foal approximately 9.00pm. Slight assistance was provided to bring both legs out as one was back a little but other than that the foaling was textbook.
